Shortage of DTaP - IPV/Hib vaccine

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists reports a shortage of diphtheria, tetanus toxoid, acellular pertussis and inactivated poliovirus/haemophilus B conjugate vaccine. The brand name for this vaccine is Pentacel. Sanofi-Pasteur will only take orders from previous purchasers based on the Center for Disease Control's recommendation that vaccinations begun with one manufacturer's product continue using the same manufacturer's products.
