Avastin Counterfeit in the US Drug Supply Chain

The FDA has issued a safety alert for counterfeit Avastin (bevacizumab) in the US drug supply chain. The counterfeit version of the drug has the Roche logo on the label and batch numbers that start with B6010, B6011 or B86017.

The US-approved version of the drug is made by Genentech, a Roche subsidiary, and is labeled with the Genentech logo.
