None of the above

Have you heard of the ballot option some US voters are given, to vote for "none of the above?" I am going to expand on that some, and this is strictly wishful thinking. In presidential elections, abolish the electoral college in favor of a nationwide direct vote with "none of the above" as a ballot choice. In any election, presidential or otherwise, when more voters choose "none of the above" than any candidate, a second election is held in thirty days. None of the previous candidates are allowed to run in the follow-up race.
